Sales Engineer
Location: Tadcaster
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + bonus
Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be recruiting a Sales Engineer for a Global business that design, build and install world-class Automation systems that are unique and individual to their customers needs.
The Sales Engineer, reporting into the Business Development Manager will play a pivotal part in growing strategic business relationships, consultatively selling to an existing customer base through identification of individual needs.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify key decision-makers and effectively present and promote the business, highlighting the unique selling points of each service offering.
- Develop and manage account strategies for designated accounts to foster strategic partnerships.
- Prepare and submit appropriate and validated tenders to the business.
- Through technical knowledge identify a businesses unique needs and offer a consultative resolution, understanding strategic corporate needs
- Network with key decision-makers to uncover potential opportunities.
- Assist Estimating Engineers in creating detailed and competitive quotations for additional equipment, spares, and services.
Skills and Requirements
- A commercially minded, ambitious individual with a technical mindset and strong sales capabilities
- A track record of forging lasting relationships with customers, resulting in increased engagement/revenue
- A degree in engineering/technical related discipline is desirable
- This role is an internal role with the potential to become field based over time
- A consultative, solution based seller with a passion for growing business opportunities
