Key Responsibilities include:
- Assess and complete self-assessment tax returns for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Review and authorise VAT returns, assist in client registration
- Examine and authorise company tax returns while identifying opportunities for tax planning.
- Supervise and guide junior team members, ensuring efficient workload management.
- Review and approve company accounts prepared by junior team members.
- Initiate new business calls and collaborate with management to support portfolio growth.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualification preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in a practice setting, demonstrating independent portfolio management skills.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with Xero preferred; knowledge of Excel would be a bonus.
