Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle for nursery and early years roles, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to placing them in positions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates, understanding their unique needs and matching them accordingly.
- Proactively identify and attract candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and other recruitment methods.
- Conduct interviews and screen potential candidates, ensuring they meet the necessary qualifications and experience for early years roles.
- Work closely with nursery managers to understand staffing needs and provide bespoke recruitment solutions.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for both temporary and permanent nursery positions.
- Manage the compliance and vetting process, ensuring all candidates meet safeguarding and legal requirements.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, generating new business through networking and client engagement.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a recruitment consultant, ideally within the education or childcare sector, with a proven track record of placing candidates in early years or nursery settings.
- Strong understanding of the early years and childcare industry, including qualifications, regulations, and the staffing needs of nurseries.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and candidates.
- Results-driven and highly motivated, with a strong focus on achieving targets and business growth.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple vacancies and clients simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to sourcing candidates and generating new business opportunities.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and compliance requirements for nursery and early years staff.
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage the vetting and compliance process efficiently.
