Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a HVAC Lead to join our passionate and driven team based at our client's site in Wembley

The HVAC Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the HVAC department, managing a team of engineers, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong leader with extensive knowledge in HVAC systems and a commitment to driving operational excellence. You will have to be hands on with servicing, installations and reactive.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership and Management:

  • Supervise, train, and evaluate HVAC Engineers.
  • Schedule and assign work, ensuring optimal use of resources. Manage quotes relating too

HVAC for the contract.

  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage QSHE, critical compliance, legislation and reporting - or words to the effect of and don't mind it being repeated below, needs to be clear

2. Operational Oversight:

  • Manage daily operations of the HVAC department, including installation, maintenance, and repair services.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

3. Customer Service:

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Provide technical support and consultation to clients as needed.

4. Project Management:

  • Oversee HVAC projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Coordinate with other departments and external contractors to ensure seamless project execution.

5. Quality Control:

  • Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems and equipment to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs.

6. Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, service reports, and inventory.
  • Prepare regular reports on departmental performance and project status.

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • HVAC apprenticeship or related field preferred.
  • You will have good working knowledge and experience in a HVAC supervision role.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HVAC software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid HVAC certification and driver's licence.
  • Must be physically fit, able to work in different environments.
