Spanish Teacher

We are seeking a Spanish Teacher for a highly regarded secondary school in the Stevenage area. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, starting from January 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Spanish lessons to students in KS3 and KS4, with the potential to cover a variety of classes and secure longer-term placements.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons that inspire and support students to achieve their full potential.
- Cover a variety of classes with the opportunity to secure longer-term placements.
- Collaborate with school teams to create a positive learning environment.
- Utilise strong communication and organisational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practices and student learning experiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Specialism in Spanish, with the ability to teach up to GCSE level; A-Level experience is desirable.
- A passion for education and proven ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- An up-to-date DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
