They are actively recruiting for a Lead Mechanical Engineer for their standby division, which focuses on power generation and data centers. This is a key position within their engineering design team, where you will split your time between hands-on design work and leading a team of five engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in mechanical engineering, with a focus on design, analysis, and project management.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering tools for design and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data, perform calculations, and make informed decisions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead teams and collaborate across departments.
- Solid understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and other relevant engineering disciplines.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations governing mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with project management methodologies, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming engineering challenges.
- Commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
