Packing Department Assistant- East Grinstead

We are currently seeking multiple Packing Assistants to join our client's dynamic team in East Grinstead. Our client, a dedicated microbiology company in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to contribute to their growing organisation.

As a Packing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of their warehouse. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining the dryers, loading and unloading plates, and following the production schedule to ensure the necessary plates are collected for the day.

Key responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain the dryers.
  • Load and unload plates, following the production schedule.
  • Feed plates into the dispensing line, check plates produced, and load plates onto trays ready for drying.
  • Pack dried plates into foil pouches.
  • Box pouched plates into sales units.
  • Assemble, bag, and pack other accessory products as required.

Please note that this role will involve heavy lifting.

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or production role.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
