Michael Page are partnering with an international law firm who are looking to recruit a Facilities Manager in Birmingham. You will have responsibility for ensuring the site is fully compliant and fit for purpose whilst supporting other areas of the business.
The organisation have several sites across the UK and the successful candidate will keep track of and coordinate with property agents on leases / office moves / service charge reviews etc.
Description
The successful candidate will have responsibility for FM at a local office level with additional responsibility across some of their other office locations consisting of coordinating lease renewals and office moves / relocations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Logging Facilities related issues (maintenance)
- Management of external contractors
- Manage office moves / relocations / fitouts / spacial planning
- Liaising with property agents to manage lease renewals / negotiations
- Oversee service charge budgets
- Ensure office is H&S compliant
- Ordering of office supplies / stationary / travel booking
Profile
- Working in a similar FM role within a corporate environment
- Managing external suppliers, managing agents, service providers etc
- Experience managing service charge budgets
- Excellent knowledge of workplace Health & Safety + IOSH certificate
- Able to communicate with all key stakeholders / partners
