UAT Manager - Salesforce Programme

A Charity in London are seeking a UAT Manager to join their Salesforce Programme and plan and delivery the testing for the new system. As part of their ambitious Data Strategy programme, they are replacing two core legacy CRMs with one single Salesforce Lightning system.

This role will oversee testing and lead the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for the new CRM, responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing UAT to ensure that the solution meets business requirements and is ready for deployment.

The role is an initial 12 month contract with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop UAT methodology that enables the include UAT delivers fit for purpose and results
  • Develop and document UAT test plans, agreeing scope and scenarios, including identifying users participating in UAT, test cases, expected outcomes and anything not in scope, ensuring the testing process meets business requirements.
  • Agree environment scope, ensuring setup and configuration of the testing environment closely mirrors the production environment to enable a smoother transition from testing to live deployment.
  • Conduct UAT testing with end users, using an agreed mechanism for logging completion and tracking progress.
  • Define defect management process and manage this within quality gate threshold.
  • Oversee the quality of testing being delivered by delivery partners, ensuring that the correct rigour is being applied
  • Support delivery team colleagues in developing appropriate testing methodologies, robust test plans and processes for collecting test evidence.

Experience:

  • Proven experience of managing UAT, specifically with Salesforce
  • Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases and test scripts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of using and managing automated testing tools, specifically Prover.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to end-users in a clear and comprehensible manner.
