My client, a top 10 Global Law Firm is seeking a talented Litigation & Dispute Resolution Attorney to join its International Arbitration team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in international arbitration, with a focus on both investor-state arbitration and commercial arbitration. This role involves working closely with an esteemed team on complex, cross-border disputes and offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a global firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in international arbitration matters, including both investor-state and commercial disputes.
- Collaborate with clients and legal teams to develop case strategies, conduct research, and prepare legal documentation.
- Participate in hearings, settlement discussions, and other dispute resolution processes.
- Contribute to the strategic growth of the International Arbitration practice by building relationships with clients, particularly in Latin America.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- 4-6 years of experience in international arbitration with a reputable law firm or relevant legal department.
- Proven experience in both investor-state arbitration and commercial arbitration.
- Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience working with clients in Latin America and/or fluency in Spanish is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
- Fluency in Spanish
- Knowledge of the legal landscape and business culture in Latin America.
