Finance Business Partner

Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with a successful manufacturing business in Blackburn who are looking to recruit a newly qualified Finance Business Partner. This will be a highly visible role at the forefront of the business, working with senior leadership members including finance, supply chain and operations.

This is an excellent high autonomy and varied opportunity to step into an established business, with the opportunity to drive change and make the role their own. You will be responsible for two new acquisitions; implementing new processes, reporting, efficiencies and driving business performance during a period of growth.

Responsibilities include:

  • Main point of contact within finance for the two new acquisitions
  • Production of monthly and weekly management reporting, including margin analysis.
  • Preparation of the budgets and forecasts for the two businesses.
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
  • Assistance with analysis of the Corporation Tax computations.
  • Proactively input into the management of the financial control environment and processes.
  • Assistance with stocktaking control.
  • Development and improvement of systems and information
  • Cost accounting
  • Understanding the costs of materials, production, supply ect
  • Other ad hoc requests to support the sites and finance department.

Candidate specification:

  • Preferably CIMA part or newly qualified
  • Prior manufacturing experience
  • Ability to work alone and make own decisions
  • Experience of working within multiple systems
  • Ability to present financial information to non-financial management

The role will suit an individual with a positive, innovative and can-do attitude. Monthly travel will be required across the two sites.
