Salary: up to £60,000 Dependent on Experience

Information Security Architect: Ageas in Eastleigh have an exciting opportunity available as an Information Security Architect, to lead the design evolution of the Enterprise Security Architecture (ESA) framework ensuring it remains fit for purpose and aligns with the evolving business strategy.

As an Information Security Architect, you will use you excellent technical skills, along with great attention to detail, and the ability to manage stakeholders of all levels to define and maintain relevant security architectural standards, patterns and blueprints.

Here are some of the main responsibilities of Information Security Architect opportunity:
Work alongside the Assurance and Architecture Manager to communicate the Enterprise Security Architecture Blueprint and other relevant principles to stakeholders.
Working with our Counter Threat Unit to understand their needs in managing BAU risks and factoring these into new architecture and standards.
Represent InfoSec on all appropriate governance forums for all Information Security sponsored projects, ensuring the appropriate documentation is complete and presenting solutions to the relevant audiences.

Here are some of the skills, knowledge and experience required to be successful in the Information Security Architect opportunity:
Strong understanding of all security principles and underlying technologies and how they apply to technological and business solutions.
Strong understanding of information security controls for a wide range of technologies, including end user devices, networking, storage and cloud solutions.
Ability to keep up to date with technology trends and innovations to enable Ageas to leverage any opportunities.
Strong background in identifying and documenting information security risks, articulating these to stakeholders and using this as a foundation to explain the relevance of a compensating control.
