As an Interventions Teaching Assistant you will be expected to assist learners in smaller groups and implement planned learning activities set by the teacher with individual support also required with those with special educational needs (SEN).
You will work alongside an experienced teacher, creating a formidable partnership that will help shape the next generation. Together you will play a pivotal role in this exciting ever-growing Secondary school in Harlow, Essex.
Job responsibilities:
- * Work closely with class teachers to develop and implement intervention strategies
- * Support students in small groups or 1:1 settings
- * Provide feedback to teacher on pupil progress and behavior
- * Assist with preparation and maintenance of materials and resources
- * Provide supervisory duties at Break/Lunch
- * Maintain positive relationships with supported learners
- * Work with and support learners with SEN
- * Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment
