As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to join their team in Slough. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy of a high-growth company.

As the Financial Controller, you will be at the heart of the finance function, responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations, providing strategic financial insights, and ensuring the financial integrity of the business. This role is ideal for a proactive and hands-on finance professional who is eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions and drive growth.
  • Collaborate with senior management to shape the financial strategy and operational planning.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage the year-end audit process.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with substantial post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
