Somerset Council are recruiting for a qualified and experienced social worker to join a looked after childrens team within in the Mendip hub based in Shepton Mallet. This role is for a full time locum covering 37 hours a week.
The Role:
Working in CLA you will have the opportunity to support profound changes to a childs life, building long term relationships to see them through their journey. Working in the Mendip CLA Team will give you a unique opportunity to work with unaccompanied asylum seeking young people.
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree
- Experience as a social worker in looked after childrens teams
- Social Work England Registration
- Driving license and access to own vehicle
