Your new role
This is initially a 6 month Fixed Term Contract but with the potential to extend. Please note, candidates MUST already have the right to work in the UK, and VISA sponsorship is NOT available. This is a highly collaborative position, you will liaise with internal and external stakeholders (including demand planning, logistics, customer service, suppliers) to support overall business objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of Supply Chain Planning (this role is more Supply side, but experience of Demand Planning is also useful and applicable as the skills are transferable). You will certainly have strong Excel skills (eg pivot tables and lookup), and be familiar with analysing inventory data, presenting findings from the data to support business decisions and ensure product availability to match the Demand plan. Any experience of expediting orders / collaborating with manufacturing sites and suppliers is useful, as is the ability to juggle the transactional element of the role (eg raising purchase orders and resolving invoice queries), with analytical and planning responsibilities. You will be a confident communicator and enjoy working in a fast-paced business.
