We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join a brand-new, state-of-the-art private hospital in Altrincham. This role offers a competitive salary of £48,000, a hybrid working model, and the chance to work closely with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team in a clinic tailored to bespoke patient care.
The Role:
As a Band 7 Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients in the clinic, offering bespoke interventions that cater to each individual's unique needs. You will collaborate directly with the Registered Manager, delivering high-quality care across a range of therapeutic interventions, including sensory assessments, sensory integration, and group therapy. Experience in Mental Health is essential, with a particular focus on eating disorders being desirable.
This is a non-case-carrying role, offering the chance to focus on holistic, high-impact patient care without managing a caseload. Your expertise will help develop tailored rehabilitation programs, support sensory integration, and contribute to innovative group therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct sensory assessments and support sensory integration therapies
- Facilitate and contribute to group therapy work, ensuring patient engagement and progress
- Support patients dealing with mental health challenges, with eating disorder experience being an advantage
- Develop individualised treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure service excellence
- Hybrid working options, offering flexibility between onsite and remote support
- Provide occasional support to a satellite clinic in Preston
Working Hours:
- 37.5 hours per week within the clinic's opening hours:
o Mon-Thu: 8am-8pm
o Fri: 8am-2pm
o Ad hoc weekend work as needed
About You:
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with significant post-qualification experience at Band 7 level
- Strong experience in mental health care, particularly in settings dealing with eating disorders
- Skilled in sensory assessments and sensory integration therapy
- Experience facilitating group therapy
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Comfortable working in a hybrid model, with some travel to support services in Preston when necessary
