Overview
We have an immediate start for a confident and professional Credit Controller based in Coventry. Reporting to the Transactional Manager you will have responsibility for your own portfolio of corporate accounts, managing client relationships, reporting on performance of the ledger and handling collections and disputes. This position is one where no two days will be the same, and it is within a bustling, friendly credit control team.
Whilst this position is a 12-month contract, the client is looking for someone who can make a positive impact on the business, recommending improvements to current processes and improving relationships with the client base. Additional responsibilities will include generating reports, negotiating payment plans and working with management to put accounts on stop.
Ideally, you will:
- Have a proven track record within credit control, confident in managing a large corporate ledger and providing effective reporting to senior management
- Feel comfortable in negotiating with corporate clients; whilst there are targets to be met you must demonstrate real strength in building long term relationships
- Be looking for a fast paced, team focused work environment, the company prides itself on their culture
- Be confident on excel, this job requires the successful candidate to have an intermediate skill set with excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups)
