New opportunity at a fast-growing technology business based in London. They are looking to hire an Accountant (qualified ACA from a Big 4 / Top 10 practice background) to join their finance function on a 12 month contract.
Duties:
- Prepares balance sheets Profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
- Analysis of current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
- Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.
Skills required:
- Strong technical (US GAAP) and financial accounting expertise
- Month end close experience (Journals and reconciliations)
- Compliance filing experience (Financial statement preparation, VAT, Corporate tax)
- Strong communication, presenting and excel skills Large accounting software package expertise desirable (Oracle financials preferred)
