Directed Local: 32.43hrs, 195 days on site, 1265 hours per year

Salary: Qualified Teachers – (T1) £35,125.00 to (T9) £51,758.00 per annum (depending on experience)

Unqualified Teachers - (UNQ1) £30,721.97 to (UNQ4) £33,173.60 per annum (depending on experience)

Location: Prince Regent Lane - East London

We have a full-time post for a Teacher of Computing. As a teacher of computing, you will assist in the delivery of A level and Vocational provision using Java, Python and Visual Studio. The ICT team is extremely well-resourced with a number of fully-equipped laboratories. Our experienced and dedicated specialists offer a range of courses including:

  • A-level in Computer Science
  • BTEC extended diploma in Computing
  • BTEC extended diploma in Cyber Security
  • T Level in Digital production design and development
  • Transition Level in Digital

You will work within the Computing and ICT team on all aspects relating to student learning, teaching, tutoring, staffing and other resources, assessment and curriculum development.

Managers will give you guidance and support in your work, while the Head of Curriculum will take specific responsibility for your probationary review and appraisal.

You will hold an Honours Degree in a related subject. You will also hold or be willing to obtain a recognised teaching qualification. Relevant experience in teaching 16-18 year olds up to at least level 3 is desirable. You will be used to maintaining professional and quality standards and keeping high quality documentation.
