Job Role:
- Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for science.
- Implement and deliver an outstanding science curriculum that is tailored to meet the needs of students.
- Managing a small science department and contributing to the management of other teaching and support staff. Including performance reviews and training.
- Working closely with the Headteacher and Assistant Headteachers to ensure that high standards are maintained and that both staff and students are supported appropriately.
- Ensuring the safeguarding of all students and staff.
- Play a vital role in community life, supporting the distinct mission of the school.
- Managing challenging behaviours and supporting teaching staff in de-escalations and behaviour management. Inspire a love for learning in students.
