Group Management Accountant | £55,000 - £65,000 | Swadlincote
Macildowie Finance is currently supporting a global manufacturer in their search for a Group Management Accountant to support their growth trajectory.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated professional to join the dynamic Finance team in Swadlincote, reporting to the newly-appointed CFO.
What is the job?
- Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts for the group.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insightful commentary on variances.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and coordinate audits.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
- Liaise with regional professional advisors to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting and tax compliance.
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Provide ad-hoc financial support and analysis for various projects as required.
What are you like?
- Must be ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent.
- Proven experience in group finance within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
