This Global organisation within the entertainment industry is currently in the process of a payroll transformation project and require another Payroll Assistant to help support the team and free up time for the Payroll Managers to work on the project.
This is a fully remote role with the occasional visit to their West London office.
About this role:
You will be inputting a high volume of new starters onto the payroll system. Processing payments on the production payrolls and processing a high volume of P45's among other tasks. Previous knowledge of dealing with HMRC, auto enrolment and PAYE payrolls an advantage.
Duties:
- Setting up of all new starters onto the computer payroll system IRIS (EARNIE IQ)
- Process all P45/Starter Checklist forms
- Sending Payslips, P60's and P45's for the company
- Answering Payroll and AE queries
- Changing Tax and Student Loans accurately
- Variable pay input
- Liaising with staff on all PAYE and SCHD matters
- Complete the payroll run monthly for the production Staff - 4 Payrolls
- Pensions Auto enrolment experience an advantage
- Creating Journals and uploading to PMI account system
- General Admin
- Ad-hoc duties as directed by the Payroll Manager
- Administering the auto-enrolment function
- Be proactive in search of work
Knowledge & Skills:
- 2 years recent end to end payroll processing experience is essentail
- Must have excellent Microsoft skills, in particular Excel with spreadsheets and formulas
- Able to use Microsoft Outlook
- Good telephone manner and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work under pressure with accuracy and focus
- •Good attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
- •IRIS (EARNIE IQ) payroll knowledge would be an advantage
