HR Officer
Yolk Recruitment are partnered with a top-tier law firm in Cardiff, seeking a HR Officer to join their team. This law firm have a strong presence in multiple locations, and they collaborate with clients across the global. They are looking for a HR Officer to join their people team on a 6-month FTC basis. In this pivotal role, the HR Officer will be responsible for ensuring that the HR administration operates at the highest standards within a regulated environment.
About you:
- Demonstrates a strong passion for spreadsheets, organisation, and meticulous record-keeping within HR.
- Excels in auditing data, ensuring swift and accurate information input.
- Maintains strict compliance with new starter procedures and other HR protocols.
- Proficient in drafting professional letters with a thorough understanding of contractual terms and the importance of accuracy.
- Takes ownership of and drives the HR system, with potential for progression into a data or compliance role.
- Capable of enhancing reporting processes, streamlining data access, and improving overall operational efficiency.
Key Competencies:
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced HR department in a similar role.
- Excellent organisational, administrative, and IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HR systems.
- A strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a dedication to delivering results.
- Outstanding time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise a high-volume workload.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, adapt to changing requirements, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- A flexible, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team, with a supportive and cooperative attitude.
