Conference Co-Ordinator

If you're a Conference Co-ordinator or have experience of event planning and are looking for a customer focussed, detail orientated role this position could be for you.

Your day to day;

  • Manage and co-ordinate all conference bookings and enquiries
  • Ensure that all enquiries are responded to and followed up in an effective and timely manner, maintaining a high conversion rate
  • To support the effective administration of conference activities in the hotel and communicate these effectively to all departments within the hotel.
  • Actively drive sales by seeking new opportunities and following up sales leads set by the Head of Sales
  • Assist with planning internal and external showcase events held at the hotel and off site
  • Building relationships with clients and developing good working relationship to encourage repeat bookings

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for an individual who thrives on delivering great customer service, is sales focused and will go the extra mile to exceed the guest's expectations.

As an experienced Conference Co-Ordinator you will be pro-active and efficient with supporting the Sales Office Manager with all conference bookings and supporting bedroom reservations where necessary. You will be calm under pressure with an excellent telephone manner and the ability to multitask. You should have a keen eye for detail and great organisation skills. Previous experience in this or a similar role is advantageous, however full training will be provided.
