We are looking for registered nurses to join the innovative and dynamic organization. The trust provides a range of mental health and physical health services to children, young people, and adults across South West England within both community and inpatient settings.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assessing care needs and developing, implementing, and evaluating care programs.
- May be required to teach other nursing and non-nursing staff.
- Provide designated nurse responsibility for several patients.
- Offer leadership, supervision, and support to junior staff, both qualified and unqualified, in the absence of the Clinical Team Leader and Unit Manager during the normal shift pattern.
- Ensure the efficient and effective use of resources to deliver a high standard of quality care to service users.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Must be registered as a Registered Mental Nurse with the NMC.
- Requires at least 6 months of post-registration NHS experience in a mental health setting.
- Needs excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to supervise and support team members, with essential traits of reliability, confidence, and commitment.
