We are looking to recruit experienced Band 6 midwives to join a team of skilled Midwives within the Fetal Medicine Unit. If you are an experienced and NMC registered midwife with an NMC PIN number and wish to make a difference to women and their families, we would like to hear from you.
Description:
- Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and babies during pregnancy, birth, and aftercare.
- Offer health education, psychological, and social care advice, including preconception care where required.
- Be responsible and accountable for the full range of care needs, and develop, implement, and evaluate care programs throughout the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods.
- Act as a preceptor for newly qualified midwives and other staff.
- Work autonomously within guidelines and professional practice.
Skills & Experience:
- Valid NMC registration as a Midwife.
- Proven experience in midwifery practice.
- SSSA evidence of training.
- BFI Training.
- NIPE, NLS, or ALSO equivalent.
- Leadership skills.
