Salary: Up to £26,000 per year

**The Role
As a Finance Assistant, you will support the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including managing the company ledger, payroll processing, handling VAT returns, and liaising with clients. You'll work closely with multiple departments to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with payroll preparation and salary disbursements
- Manage transactions across multiple bank accounts
- Prepare and submit business tax and VAT returns
- Assist in the preparation of management and annual company accounts, budgets, and financial reports
- Track rental income and generate statements for landlords
- Renew compliance certificates across all businesses
**What We're Looking For:
- Strong communication skills
- Trustworthy and dependable
- Organised with an ability to work consistently under pressure
- A good multitasker with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with numbers and Excel/Google Sheets
- Knowledge of Xero or similar software (preferred)
- Level 2 in Finance/Accounting (minimum); AAT/ACCA qualification desirable
- Experience with Reapit (advantageous)
