Business Analyst

Our client an established financial services provider has created a new role to drive business change. Reporting to the Business Transformation Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify requirements. Excellent relationship building skills are a must, as you will be working with several stakeholders, third parties and external contractors. Being passionate and inquisitive, you will inspire and encourage others to drive the best results from meetings and workshops. You will also be an ambassador for Business Transformation, and champion new ways of working.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, analyse, and document business requirements
  • Conduct thorough analysis and translate business requirements into user stories
  • Analyse existing business models and flows of data, documenting and summarising findings to assist in the design & delivery of improved solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and feedback from key stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance to the Business Transformation Manager on delivery approach using prioritised user stories
  • Driving clear communication and collaboration through delivery, facilitating daily stand ups and utilising task boards
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and
  • alignment of project and goal deliverables.
  • Assisting with User Acceptance Testing, where required
  • Support the transition to Agile ways of working within the organization, providing coaching and guidance as needed.

Requirements of the Business Analyst

  • 3 years of experience in business change analysis, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Proven delivery within an Agile environment.
  • Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards within financial services.
  • Hold or willing to work towards professionally recognised accreditation.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio and Project.
