Position Overview:

Elevation Recruitment are collaborating with a UK based accountancy and tax firm. This role works closely with the rest of the marketing team and select agencies to develop effective and engaging content for their website and social media, to enhance brand presence, engage target audiences, and drive business growth. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping our brand presence and moving our digital initiatives forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging and relevant content for the website and social media channels, including posts, images, videos, that align with our brand voice and objectives.
  • Manage and maintain the content calendar, ensuring consistent and timely delivery of content.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and best practices, and implement them into the social media strategy to maximise effectiveness.
  • Engage with the online community, respond to comments and messages, and foster meaningful conversations and relationships with our audience.
  • Monitor and analyse social media metrics and performance to track the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Add content to the website including blogs, publications, and imagery.
  • Create and update marketing collateral (brochures, email campaigns).
  • Produce monthly KPI reports and weekly social media roundups to the firm.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging platforms, creative techniques, and changes in social media algorithms to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Rapidly deploy e-shot marketing campaigns via email campaign software, to allow content produced by the marketing and wider team to be successfully shared.
  • Communications – work with the HR team and help to manage internal communications of business initiatives, business updates, and recruitment messaging.
  • Assist with small graphic design jobs, working with our in-house graphic designer.

Person Specification:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging and compelling content.
  • At least two years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proof reading experience is essential.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Passion for staying updated with the latest content and social media trends, technologies, and industry developments.
  • Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills are essential.
  • Experience of working in design software including Adobe InDesign, photoshop and Canva.
