Higher Level Teaching Assistant - September 2024 - 5 days per week, 8:30-3:30 - Covering a range of responsibilities from cover to intervention - £85 - £128 p/day

- ** Potters Bar, Hertfordshire - £85 - £128 p/day
- ** Ofsted 'Good' school with supportive staff and progression onto teacher training available
Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of a well run and inclusive Secondary school. Starting in September and expected to last the full 2024/25 academic year you will have the opportunity to become a permanent member of the team and optimise the schools links with local providers onto teacher training.
This is a diverse and welcoming school who are committed to ensuring students and parents actively engaged with their pupils learning. The Headteacher is looking for those with experience in KS2 or 3 or graduates looking to start their career within education.
As one of the HLTA's, you will be responsible for:
- ** Supporting pupils across years 7,8 and 9
- ** Leading interventions for students who's progress has fallen behind
- ** Support with managing behaviour and ensuring a suitable and appropriate learning environment is accessible for all staff
- ** Establish and maintain positive pupil, parent and peer relationships
- ** Provide a caring and supportive learning environment.
We are looking for applicants who:
- ** Have strong TA experience and ideally a HLTA qualification although not essential
- ** Are committed to providing creative and inspiring learning experiences
- ** Can enhance a learning environment to make it motivated, energetic and fun!
- * Will demonstrate strong communication skills, use of initiative and organisational skills
- **Has an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
