IT Service Manager

Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for delivering exceptional IT services? Join our dynamic and modern technological environment as an IT Service Manager and play a key role in our continued success. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our IT Service Desk and related services. Key Responsibilities

  • Service Desk Management: Oversee the operations of the IT Service Desk, ensuring efficient and effective responses to incidents and service requests. Monitor service desk metrics to ensure compliance with SLAs and quality standards.
  • Technical Support: Coordinate troubleshooting, manage IT/AV support, and act as an escalation point for 2nd and 3rd line issues. Provide hands-on technical support as needed.
  • IT Projects: Manage IT projects ensuring timely delivery in accordance with Agile principles. Maintain and update IT documentation and knowledgebase.
  • Hardware and Software Management: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of computer systems and software, ensuring compliance with defined standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous improvement practices, ensuring efficient IT service delivery and effective decision-making.

About You

  • Qualifications: BSc in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Additional certifications in Agile Principles, ITIL, or Business Analytics are advantageous.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of managing an IT Service Desk in a similar technical environment. Experience with ITIL, Incident Management, and Microsoft 365. Familiarity with Mobile Device Management systems.
  • Skills: Strong technical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and proficiency in Excel. Exceptional communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Committed to continuous professional development and adaptable to change.

Benefits

  • Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
