- Posting of sales ledger receipts
- Posting of purchase ledger payments
- Supplier reconciliation
- Cash allocation
- Processing expenses
- Setting up suppliers
- Setting up bank payments
- Supporting with invoices, statements and allocations
- Answering general accounting and finance queries
- Ad hoc duties
Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- Previous experience working within a Finance Assistant position
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially in MS Excel (Pivot tables and V look ups)
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
