Damp and Mould Team Leader

We have an exciting opportunity for a Damp and Mould Team Leader to join our established team on a permanent basis. We are looking for someone with previous experience of leading a team in one of the following areas- damp & mould, reactive or planned works to support the visibility and planning of surveying and remedial works programmes across Incommunities homes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Damp & Mould Team in providing an end-to-end surveying and works delivery service for customers.
  • Lead the team in the provision of a quality customer orientated service and will be responsible for administrative and contract support, prioritising day to day correspondence, telephone and e-mail enquiries and liaising with Incommunities tenants.
  • Ensure management of accurate service delivery information and associated KPI monitoring to provide assurance and compliance with KPI timescales and statutory obligations
  • Support the visibility and planning of surveying work and remedial works programmes, ensuring peaks and troughs are managed, working with the Surveying Manager
  • Ensure the customer is at the heart of the service with continual oversight, customer communication and customer experience stress tested with continual improvements to service delivery embedded into all aspects of the service overall.
  • Ensure continuous development within the service and support the Surveying Manager in the delivery of a property safety culture.

About you

  • Experience in supporting teams and being at the forefront of the customer experience for Damp & Mould, Reactive/Planned Works programmes
  • Experience of collaboration and contract management to understand the barriers towards delivery and recommending options to recover or maintain the expected standards, inline with strict service level agreements and KPI's
  • Meticulous attention to detail and able to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skill, good IT / Microsoft skills and the ability to analyse spreadsheets/data to deliver the service holistically
  • Ability to manage, motivate and influence behaviours through excellent people skills

Requirements

  • Experience of managing or leading a team in damp & mould or reactive or planned works.
  • Specific in-depth knowledge of contract management, with knowledge and awareness of the measures to ensure robust approach to customer experience and service delivery.
  • Knowledge and experience of data management, stress testing data and reporting.
  • Knowledge of the legislative requirements in respect of Damp & Mould.
  • Complaint management, ensuring prioritisation, delivery and empowering staff to manage the service, ensuring the customer is kept informed and works are delivered.
  • Dynamic and driven with an ability to get things done.
  • Have a high degree of integrity, be self-confident and self-motivated, be able to use own initiative and manage, enthuse and motivate others.
  • Assertive, observant, co-operative, flexible analytical, able to negotiate and deal with possible conflict.
  • Good interpersonal skills in order to deal with issues which may be sensitive and or confidential, with the ability to deal with customers and colleagues with courtesy, tact and sensitivity.
