A leading financial services organisation is currently searching for a Head of Regulatory Reporting with experience in PRA and Financial Reporting on a 6 - 12 month contract basis.

The day rate will be £900 Umbrella per day, with their working policy being two - three days out of their London office.

The role will look to migrate to a perm role at the end of the contract.

Responsibilities for the role are;

The Head of Regulatory Reporting is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the regulatory reporting function, ensuring compliance with Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) requirements. This role involves leading a team of regulatory reporting professionals, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure all regulatory reports are prepared and submitted in accordance with PRA guidelines and timelines.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PRA regulations and ensure the organization's reporting practices are compliant.

  • Liaise with regulatory bodies to stay abreast of changes in reporting requirements and implement necessary adjustments.

  1. Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of regulatory reporting analysts and specialists.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence within the team.

  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities.

  1. Data Integrity & Reporting:
  • Oversee the collection, validation, and analysis of data required for regulatory reporting.

  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all regulatory reports before submission.

  • Implement robust control frameworks to mitigate risks associated with regulatory reporting.

  1. Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Finance, Risk, Compliance, and IT, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive reporting processes.

  • Communicate effectively with senior management and provide insights into regulatory reporting matters.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulatory examiners.

  1. Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy in regulatory reporting.

  • Lead projects aimed at optimizing the regulatory reporting function and implementing best practices.

  • Monitor and assess the impact of new regulatory requirements on existing processes and systems.

  1. Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and execute the regulatory reporting strategy in alignment with the organization's goals and regulatory environment.

  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership on regulatory reporting trends and developments.
