Our client is a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy who are recruiting in the Yorkshire region for a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant. You will be joining our clients hard working and longstanding team of surveyors, working on Local Authority, Educational, Healthcare, and Industrial sites. You will be responsible for ensuring that work is carried out in line with HSG 264 guidelines and providing excellent technical support and consultancy advice to clients. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Thirsk, Ripon, Market Weighton, Selby, Leeds, Wakefield, Goole, Scunthorpe, Doncaster, Barnsley, Huddersfield, Keighley, Rotherham, Halifax, Dewsbury, Batley.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH qualification.
" Will come from a consultancy background, working for a UKAS accredited company.
" Excellent knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.
" Able to prioritise and organise workload in line with company and client needs.
" Familiar with TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
The Role:
" Working on a mixed portfolio of sites carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" Safely bagging and correctly labelling suspected ACMs found on site.
" Sending suspected ACMs to the laboratory for analysis.
" Carrying out re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Ensuring work on site is carried out in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
" Using industry relevant systems to produce detailed reports.
" Quality checking reports prior to sending to clients.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent consultancy support and advice.
