Job Description
- Support quality related issues with internal, supplier and customer concerns
- Ability to identify and react to non-conformances engaging the correct escalation process as necessary
- Support with root cause and corrective actions for product quality issues using proven methodology such as 8D and supporting tools
- Working knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes
- Support the internal audit program, with layered process audits, products and process audits
Quality Technician
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Proven experience in a fast paced manufacturing organisation
- Knowledge of problem solving ability using known methodology (i.e 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa)
- CMM application and CMM programming knowledge would be advantageous
- Understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
- Knowledge of measurement methods and techniques using equipment
