Senior Project Manager opportunity to join a Leading company in the Utilities Data Technology industry and they are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that all objectives are met within budget and on time.

Senior Project Manager Position - Sheffield (Hybrid) - Up to £65,000 + Bens

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, resources required
  • Ownership of the full project/delivery lifecycle, from the bidding process, through project initiation/setup and development to customer delivery
  • Formulation and delivery (with the Product Owner) of a clear purpose for the delivery team based on the product strategy and/or client needs
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders throughout each stage of the process
  • Identify potential risks or issues early on and take proactive measures to mitigate them

Qualifications/Requirements:

To qualify for this position as a senior-level manager you should have at least 5 years' experience working as a Project Manager under your belt.

Other requirements include:

Skills Required:

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Demonstrable experience of running and delivering large/complex projects within either a software or engineering related environment
  • Scada Experience preferable
  • Ability to analyse and understand complex business processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different departments
  • Bonus if you have Utilities or Water company experience

Education/Certification Requirements (Optional):

  • Holds a formal project management qualification, i.e. PRINCE2, AgilePM Foundation/Practitioner
  • Knowledge of agile values, principles, practices and theory is advantageous

Salary & Benefits:

The salary offered by our client for this role starts at £65k per annum depending upon level of expertise brought into play. Other benefits included flexible hours schedule options along with other perks like health insurance coverage etc.
