What will the Financial Controller role involve?
- Oversee Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, month-end procedures, and management accounts.
- Reconcile bank statements, complete VAT returns, and manage balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, annual budgets, and support year-end audits with external auditors.
- Provide strategic financial insights to Directors and ensure best financial practices.
- Manage Directors' earnings for tax returns, oversee pension accounts, chair management meetings, and report on key office metrics.
Suitable Candidate for the Financial Controller vacancy:
- Fully Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA or qualified by experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communicator with strong business acumen
- Proactive and adaptable with a results-driven mindset
- Ability to train and support finance staff, while collaborating with the management team.
