We are currently supporting this friendly and innovative high school recruit a temporary finance officer on a part-time basis. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the school alongside the School Business Manager, from invoicing, to supporting parents with payment apps to working on various systems including SIMS and Excel.
This finance role is to start in September 2024 on a part-time basis, 3 days a week.
Your new role
- Inputting invoices and orders onto FMS.
- Organise and maintain computerised and manual systems for the storage and retrieval of information and documents.
- Record and accurately log all transactions.
- Generate purchase orders and process invoices for payment.
- Supporting with the use of ParentPay.
What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant finance qualifications or at least 12 months experience within a similar role within a school.
- Excellent IT Skills, including using Excel and School Systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ideally previous experience of working in an educational setting.
