  • Lead and manage the development of communication strategies.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to produce high-quality content.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with media outlets and handle public relations issues.
  • Contribute to the development of the organisation's brand and image.
  • Manage a team of communication professionals.
  • Ensure all communication activities adhere to the industry's best practices.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Profile

A successful Communications Lead should have:

  • A degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit and charities / Housing Association sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with digital communication tools and platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic communication plans.
