Our client is a highly recognisable brand that have experienced huge growth in recent years. You will join the business as they make a significant shift in business strategy. The role is best in South West London and you will be on site a minum of 3 days per week.

Description

Here are the primary responsibilities for the role of Logistics Manager:

  • To manage the outbound supply and logistics from distributors to ensure the best levels of service.
  • To identify and lead projects that will support growth and improve the efficiency and resilience of the supply chain.
  • To take overall responsibility for supply of products into our Irish distributors, working with the Supply Chain Managers to ensure high levels of availability and reduce cost.
  • To deal with delivery issues and be the escalation point of contact
  • To support the supply chain activity associated with new product launches, to ensure all products arrive on time and in full.
  • To manage and report on service level KPIs and performance analysis.
  • To support the management of the contracts with our distribution partners, to include regular service reviews and contract meetings.

Profile

We are looking to hear from candidates with a background in supply chain and logistics for a multi-site organisation with fast moving products. You will have previous experience working with and managing the relationships of 3PL's and will have a collaborative approach with the ability to engage and build positive relationships. You will need Knowledge of forecasting and demand planning and this will be supported by great analytical skills across large data sets and with strong Excel capability. Candidates with previous examples of supporting on projects would be encouraged to apply. Most importantly you will have a entrepreneurial mind set, seeking out ways to make improvements and drive change in a positive and pro-active way.

Job Offer

The role will require you to work from the company HQ in SW London at least 3 days per week. You will receive a highly competitive salary and benefits.
