The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a PCB Test & Service Engineer ?
- Responsible for testing and fault-finding production units and PCBs to component level using Test Specifications and circuit diagrams.
- Repair and assemble products and be able to carry out soldering to IPC 600 J standard 001.
- Provide assistance to Engineering with investigation units.
- Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers.
- Demonstrate a level of innovation within the cell to assist continuous improvements.
- Perform inspection on all activities as and when required.
- Ordering and checking/rejecting of components.
What are we looking for in our next PCB Test & Service Engineer ?
- Hold HNC or equivalent electronics experience
- IPC Certification highly desirable
- Previous experience working in a similar role within the Aero sector desirable
