We are looking for a Science Technician to support our dynamic science department at a secondary school in Bury. This role offers flexibility with part-time positions preferred and available. **Role Overview:
- Position: Science Technician
- Location: Secondary School, Bury
- Employment Type: Negotiated part-time (flexible)
- Start Date: Immediate
- Working Hours: 8am - 4pm (negotiable)
- Pay: Up to £115 per day for the right candidate
**Responsibilities:
- Organising and preparing resources for science experiments.
- Ensuring equipment is well-maintained and safely stored.
- Assisting science staff in setting up practical lessons.
- Keeping the science department organised, tidy, and fully stocked.
- Adhering to health and safety protocols, including COSHH regulations.
**Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- COSHH qualification is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting the science curriculum.
