The Company: Expanding IFA firm based in Central Harrogate looking to add an experienced, private wealth focused Financial Planning Assistant/Paraplanner to their back-office support team:
- Office Location: Central Harrogate
- Hybrid/Home Working: 100% office-based
Package: £32-35k base + discretionary bonus & full company benefits

- Holidays: 25-days + stats
- Working Hours: 8.30am-5pm Mon-Thurs, 8.30am-1pm Friday
The Role: A broad adviser support role geared around supporting high performing financial advisers, working in HNW client circles with all research & suitability report writing workload; alongside some administrative duties - These include:
- Product research and full suitability report writing
- Process all new/existing business
- Co-ordinate client review meetings including arranging meetings with the Financial Adviser
- Preparation of the client's valuation (Intelliflo) and review meeting pack.
- Complete the details from Fact finds on the IO system
- Issue recommendation reports to clients and prepare illustrations and any paperwork required.
- Obtain LOA's
- Fund switches.
- Ensure that client files are fully FCA compliant.
The Person: The successful candidate will ideally come from an IFA/wealth management background and must have exposure to paraplanning prior:
- Required: Progress towards the QCF Level 4 Diploma (CII)
- Required: 2+ years industry experience ideally within paraplanning and research/report writing work
