We are in search of an experienced Office Administrator Manager to oversee the administrative operations within our logistics sector company. This full-time role is based in Guildford and offers a competitive salary. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our office, supporting our logistics team, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage and coordinate all administrative functions to ensure the office operates smoothly.
  • Supervise administrative staff, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor performance.
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures, and ensure they are followed.
  • Serve as the point of contact for office maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, and equipment.
  • Organise and schedule meetings and appointments, and manage travel arrangements for staff.
  • Prepare and review operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyse internal processes and recommend and implement procedural or policy changes to improve operations.
  • Oversee the management of office space, including layout and space planning.
  • Assist in the preparation of the budget, keep inventory of office supplies, and manage office expenditure within the allocated budget.
  • Liaise with other departments, external partners, and vendors to ensure all aspects of the office management are covered.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Office Administrator, Office Manager, or similar role, preferably within the logistics sector.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with office management software.
  • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • A high level of discretion and confidentiality for both business and customer information.
  • Relevant qualification in business administration, management, or a related field.
