**We are seeking a Cake Decorating Lecturer to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be instrumental in planning and delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment for Cake Decorating courses. This position offers the opportunity to significantly contribute to our student's success and to the development of our curriculum.

Day-to-day of the role of a Cake Decorating Lecturer :
- Plan and deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in Cake Decorating.
- Ensure positive student outcomes and meet academic performance targets.
- Actively contribute to the development of the Cake Decorating curriculum, incorporating national best practices.
- Administer courses, contribute to marketing initiatives, and ensure compliance with College policies.
- Participate in quality assurance procedures, including assessment and internal verification.
- Provide support to unemployed adult learners, helping to remove barriers to training.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Cake Decorating Role :
- Recognised teaching qualification like PGDE or other Level 4+ teaching qualification.
- Relevant English/Literacy qualifications, ideally equivalent to level 2
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Recent experience in utilizing ICT in the workplace and the ability to teach basic IT skills.
- Effective team player with tutorial skills and the ability to work sensitively with others.
- Enthusiasm, drive, and the ability to work independently with limited direction.
Experience required for the role :
- Proven experience in delivering Cake Decorating courses.
- Demonstrated high levels of organization and commitment to learning and development.
- Ability to work independently as well as thrive within a team environment.
