Established accountancy practice, with significant national presence and growth are recruiting for a Corporate Tax Senior. The corporate tax senior will play a significant part in looking after compliance matters for a portfolio of corporate clients and their corporate taxation needs. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable accountancy firm based in Nottingham that can offer excellent progression opportunities. Duties of the Corporate Tax Senior will include:

Liaising with the accounts team, you will provide guidance and support in preparing tax computations as part of the accounts preparation process
Detailed reviews of corporate tax computations on larger and more complex clients
Making claims for tax relief on more technical matters such as R&D and capital allowances
Supervision of more junior members of the team.
Direct contact with clients.
Delivering all aspects of corporation tax compliance support to clients
Review of computations prepared by the accounts team
Responding to ad-hoc queries from internal and external clients
Full portfolio management, to include billing, work in progress and management of your own work flow to meet deadlines
Completing technical research for discussion and presentation to colleagues and clients
Liaising with HMRC in relation to client liabilities and responding to HMRC enquiries
Providing support to Partners and Managers for client meetings
Direct involvement in corporate tax planning work

Requirements for the Corporate Tax Senior:

ATT/CTA Qualification
2-3 years experience in practice
Understanding of accounts
Strong IT skills and knowledge
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail
