Air Technician - £27,000-£35,000 - Reading (Covering Southern region)
A Nationwide Air & Water specialist, based in the South-West and established over 20 years ago, our client is currently recruiting an Air Technician to work on a variety of lucrative public sector projects across the Southern region.
Experience required for the Air Technician position
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in the Air hygiene sector.
- Knowledge of ductwork/fire damper testing/installations required.
- A thorough understanding of TR19 standards
- Understanding of working with TR19
- Happy to work at height or in confined spaces where required either as part of a pair or independently.
- Willing to work overtime where needed.
- Full driving licence
Typical duties for the Air Technician will include:
- Cleaning and Disinfecting of ventilation ductwork located in Commercial sites primarily public sector
- Kitchen extraction, ductwork and ventilation cleaning ensuring all work is in line with TR19 and COSHH regulations.
- AHU Maintenance
- Ensuring job sheets are kept accurate and to the high standards of the business.
- Carry out fire damper testing and inspections.
