Salary: £25,000k - £26,000k

Location: Burnley

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join a close-knit team within a growing Retail business based in Burnley. You will be working very closely with the Finance Manager allowing you to have a wider exposure to accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Credit control - internal and external debtors
  • Collating & posting the banking
  • Posting remittances and items off the bank
  • Reconciling the bank
  • Reconciling Service Plan direct debits & dealing with any variances
  • Collating and posting the internal sales & vehicle sales ledgers (intercompany)
  • Dealing with queries via telephone email and teams
  • Supporting the Finance Manager and Assistant Finance Managers with ad-hoc duties

What you'll need to succeed

  • At least 1 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Able to work independently and within a team.
  • Positive attitude towards work.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for dealing with suppliers and internal managers.
  • A basic knowledge of Excel.
  • A proven track record of reconciling difficult supplier accounts and dealing with volumes.
  • Exceptional accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to work well under pressure.
